作者简介:Dick Giordano has enjoyed a career spanning five decades specializing in all forms of graphic story-telling, both in print and for film and television. From 1980 to 1993 he served as vice president and creative director at DC Comics, Inc., a major comic book publisher. He has also taught sequential illustration courses at Parsons School of Design, Kubert's School of Cartoon Art, and Syracuse University. Though never seriously considering retirement, Dick now resides in Florida, disguised as a beach bum.Herman Melville's legend is as mammoth and elusive as the whale that established it.
